In September 1992, China Resources Group (CR Group) invested Winland Investment Limited, a listed company in Hong Kong, and renamed it as “China Resources Enterprise, Limited (CR Enterprise),” which became one of the earliest Chinese enterprises to be listed in Hong Kong. As the first listed company of CR Group, CR Enterprise pioneered the access of Chinese enterprises to the international capital market. Through M&A, joint ventures, spin-offs, IPO, and asset replacement, CR Enterprise has facilitated CR Group on industrial transformation to achieve rapid development.
In the past 30 years since its establishment, CR Enterprise has successively participated in the M&A and integration of 15 industries, including beer, real estate, consumer goods, retail, gas, cement, Etc., and has incubated and spun off 4 listed companies for CR Group, including CR Land, CR Gas, CR Cement, and CR Beer, building an excellent professional image in the capital market. CR Enterprise has also nurtured and incubated several nationally recognized brands, such as Snow Beer, C'estbon Beverage, Ng Fung, and CR Vanguard.
Since 2021, CR Enterprise has formulated a new strategic plan, positioning itself as the main force for Hong Kong business development, the pacesetter for overseas business expansion, and the enabler for new industry incubation of CR Group. Now, CR Enterprise owns member companies, including CR Logistics, CRE Property Investment, Pacific Coffee, CRE Smartech, CR Verlinvest Senior Care, City'Super, Runkong Food, and invests and participates in OATLY Oatmeal Milk, Shenzhou Space Biotechnology Group, Etc. It also has set up the CR Research Institute of Science and Technology, which promotes the transformation of advanced scientific research results from home and abroad.
During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, CR Enterprise will closely focus on the "321" business strategy to determine the future directions of industry and investment.
